About Kelly's Dance Studio

Kelly’s Dance Studio is a family business that was founded in 1980. It is run by Keith & Kornelia Kelly, who are both fully qualified professionals with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD).

Having started dancing lessons after continuously getting stuck at corners, Keith soon discovered that Ballroom dancing was his passion and wanted other people to experience the joy of dancing. More dancing lessons followed and some friends taught, and eventually Kelly’s Dance Studio was born.

Keith has trained beginners, medalists, competitors and many teachers. He has also examined and judged all over the world.

Kornelia always loved dancing and had done ballet, tap and jazz among other styles from the age of 6. She finally found her true love with Ballroom and Latin. She is qualified in teaching Ballroom, Latin American and Argentine Tango. She joined Keith in the business in 2008 and as they say the rest is history.

Here at Kelly’s we offer classes to suit people of all ages and standards, from children as young as 3 years old to new social beginners and highly ranked open competitors.
